From the Italian Alps to the UAE
Water with a wider purpose.
MonViso began in Italy in 2012 and entered the UAE in 2015. CSD has worked with MonViso from that UAE arrival: helping make water available around our community rides while sharing a belief that everyday choices can support something bigger.

The “Take Water. Give Life.” initiative supports medical research, treatment and education through Al Jalila Foundation.
Recycle
MonViso collects empty PET and glass bottles from customers with a later delivery and arranges recycling without a collection charge.

Born high in the Alps.
MonViso says its Piemonte water comes from the Rocce Azzurre spring at 2,042 metres above sea level, at the foot of Monviso Mountain. The source remains at a constant 3.8°C, away from industry and dense settlement, and the water is bottled at origin.

Keep claims in perspective.
Low sodium is a product characteristic, not a treatment. Riders with medical, kidney, blood-pressure or fluid-management concerns should follow advice from their own qualified health professional.
Hydration for UAE cycling
Start prepared. Keep drinking. Recover well.
Water is central to hydration, but a useful plan must also reflect the rider, weather, duration, intensity, sweat rate and access to refills. There is no single volume that is correct for every cyclist or every ride.
Begin normally hydrated and bring enough fluid for the route, the forecast and the possibility that a planned refill is unavailable.
Drink regularly according to conditions and thirst. Longer, harder and hotter rides may also require planned carbohydrate and electrolyte intake.
Continue replacing fluid, eat normally and pay attention to recovery. Persistent dizziness, confusion, vomiting or collapse needs urgent medical attention.
Water and sports drink are not interchangeable in every situation.
Plain water may be entirely appropriate for some rides. For prolonged riding, heavy sweating or extreme UAE conditions, individual fluid, sodium and fuelling needs can be very different. Practise your plan and seek qualified advice when needed.

Since 2017, MonViso has worked with Al Jalila Foundation to support medical research, treatment and education in the UAE. MonViso currently states that AED 1 for every litre sold through its dedicated partners contributes to the initiative; customers can also add a voluntary donation when purchasing online.
The environmental side continues after the bottle is empty. UAE delivery customers can rinse and return empty MonViso PET or glass bottles with a later delivery for collection and recycling.

MonViso has supported Cycle Safe Dubai since the brand arrived in the UAE. That long relationship is visible where it matters: around real riders, real weekends and the practical need to have water available in Dubai conditions.
