A relationship built on the road

Riders first. Partnership second.

Spinneys’ own history records a staff cycling team beginning with four colleagues in 2005 and growing into a large, active riding community. That authentic participation is one reason the relationship with CSD has lasted.

CSD’s archive shows Spinneys on an early yellow members’ jersey in 2011. Spinneys UAE and CSD share more than a commercial partnership: CEO Sunil Kumar and the CMO are avid cyclists who ride regularly with the Spinneys family, catching up with Nick, Stewart and the wider community each week. The connection is visible in weekly rides, build-up events and one of the region’s best-known cycling challenges.

The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge has grown into a major UAE mass-participation cycling event, bringing residents, international riders, first-time entrants and experienced racers onto the same event calendar.
